Kansas City police are working to stop people from driving drunk. They cracked down on drunk drivers near the Power and Light District last week with more than 20 DUI arrests. For those who drank too much, it was a bad end to a good time.

ASHLAND, Neb. Campers may soon be allowed to legally drink a glass of wine or a beer at their picnic table around the campfire at Nebraska state parks. Members of the State Game and Parks Commission indicated Thursday they were sympathetic to appeals to change the policy that generally bans consuming alcohol in state parks. In the past, the commission has expressed concerns about enforcing a relaxation of the policy.

The 21-year-old, who lives in the Lochend area of the city, pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to the charge on Wednesday. He was fined £500 and banned from driving for 12 months. In a statement he said: "I understand that it was irresponsible and wrong to drive a car under the influence of alcohol. I would also like to say sorry to the supporters, the manager and everyone connected with Hibernian. My actions were completely unacceptable and I deeply regret my behaviour."

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the period January to February 2010 increased by 1.3 per cent to 113.2 compared with that of 111.8 in the same period last year. When compared to the same month in 2009, the CPI for February 2010 registered an increase of 1.2 per cent from 111.9 to 113.2. Compared with the previous month, the CPI remain unchanged at 113.2. The index for Food & Non-Alcoholic Beverages and Non-Food for the month of February 2010 compared to the same month in 2009 showed an increase of 1.3
